An improved way to track your workday

We’re excited to introduce the next improvement in Severa’s new Beta Experience, making your daily work smoother and more intuitive than ever.

With this release, you can copy, edit, and review your daily entries more efficiently, supported by smart suggestions and a redesigned interface.

Everything you need to manage your work hours is now in one place.

Feature overview

Feature Description
Copy days and single entries Easily copy entire days or individual entries to another day. Perfect for repeating similar workdays without re-entering data.
Suggestions in day view Get smart suggestions based on your previous time entries, making it faster to fill in your workday.
Summary panel In this new summary panel view, you’ll see a summary where you can switch between months. It shows your weekly hours, expected upcoming work time, and the total value of your logged hours.
Time & Expenses preferences Update or correct existing mileage entries in the same intuitive interface.
UI improvements based on feedback We’ve made several user interface enhancements in the day view for time entries. These improvements are based directly on customer feedback.

Introducing the New Travel Expenses View

Travel expenses

We’re excited to introduce the next major part of Severa’s new Beta Experience: Travel Expenses.

This release makes travel-related costs more visible in the Time & Expenses view, allowing you to conveniently manage daily allowances, mileage, and other travel expenses directly within your day view.

Feature overview

Feature Description
Add daily allowance Add a daily allowance entry directly from the day view for your business trip days.
Edit daily allowance Make changes to existing daily allowance entries quickly and easily.
Add mileage Log your mileage expenses with just a few clicks, directly alongside your time entries.
Edit mileage Update or correct existing mileage entries in the same intuitive interface.
Add other expense Record additional travel-related costs (e.g., parking, meals, tolls) directly from the day view.
Edit other expense Modify previously added expenses whenever needed, without switching views.
View and delete travel expenses See all your travel expenses in one place and delete entries when necessary.
Add expense from work hour entry Link travel expenses directly to specific work hour entries for more accurate reporting.

💡 A new experience for travel management

Travel-related expenses are now fully integrated into the same view where you record your working hours.

You no longer need to switch between different tools or views, as everything now happens in the same place where your daily work takes place.

This release makes expense reporting faster, clearer, and more consistent across all your projects.

All-New Customer View in Beta

We're proud to introduce the first release of Severa’s new Customers module – the core of every professional services business. This Beta brings a cleaner, faster way to manage and interact with your customer data.

What’s included in the Customers release?

Feature Description
Customer KPIs Instantly view key customer metrics: margin, billing, active status, and pipeline prospects.
Improved customer list A modern, filterable view of customers with pagination, active/inactive status toggling, and open project links.
Customer details Full view of customer info including addresses, contact details, and organization information.
eInvoicing address Easily manage your customer’s eInvoice address and eInvoice operator from the same view.
Add new customer Quickly create new customer profiles anywhere in the app with the new drawer logic.
Customer settings Control customer account numbering and other configuration options for consistency.

This our first and critical step toward a smoother customer management experience in Severa. With the new experience, you get:

The first release: Time & Expenses

Time & Expenses (Day view)

We’re excited to roll out the very first part of Severa’s new Beta Experience – starting with Time & Expenses.

Designed with clarity, speed, and daily usability in mind, this initial release gives you everything you need to track your workday without the clutter.

What's in the new Time & Expenses view?

Here's what Beta users can now do:

Feature Description
Add work hours & absences Log your hours and absences directly in the daily view.
Edit & delete entries Made a mistake? Adjust it easily with inline editing.
Navigate weekdays Move between days to track your week — fast and fluid.
Copy previous day Speed things up by duplicating yesterday’s hours or absences.
See total flex time Instantly see your flex time for the selected day.
Mark day as done One click to mark your workday complete — and move on.

You'll also see clear status messages if:

  • Your hours are already approved or invoiced.
  • Your work contract is missing.
  • The period is locked for edits.

Features in this release are mostly already existing functionalities in the current Severa, but built & designed better.

A fresh look & feel

This release also introduces a redesigned Severa UI, aimed at modernizing and simplifying your experience:

  • New color palette for improved visual clarity and brand consistency
  • Updated fonts for better readability
  • Cleaner navigation menu for faster access to key views
  • Accessible improvements for making Severa lovable for everyone
  • Overall modern feel — fresh spacing, simplified elements, and reduced visual noise
